Innateness of Life

The universe at most times has this innate sense of making things right for the tough times that you have endured or at least I’d like to think so.

It was one of those working Saturdays when I neither had the mood to work nor the energy to pick myself up and go to the office but I had certain important things to attend to. I eventually got myself up at 8 o clock and headed out. I was just riding my bike down the end of my street and there was this old gentleman with his granddaughter on his shoulders. I slowed down a bit to take the turn and waved at the little one and she waved back, smiling so bright. The old man broke into a laugh as well. They waved me off as the little girl bounced cheerily on the shoulders of her old man. That little moment changed the entire dynamic of the day for me. For what could have been an irritating and tiresome day, rather became a wonderful one.

All of us are probably trying to make sense of life in the hopes that maybe that could help us get out of bed every morning. But, what sense could we possibly make of this drifting matter? And in all our attempts of trying to find meaning, we forget to live in the present and experience life as it is. We fail to recognise the growth and maturity that we are going through and appreciate all that we have achieved. We have broken down barriers and gotten over obstacles even when there was too little hope. We possess the ability to derive strength from a tiny little spark from within. To me, it is amusing that almost every single day I can discover a little bit of myself. Maybe at the miniscule level, we fail to notice the differences but, I am not the same person that I was a year ago. I’m sure if you look back, you probably have grown leaps and bounds as well.

Innocent minds, wild thoughts and endless possibilities; as a kid, the dreams that we carried were in plenty and they were not confined to any limitations of race, religion, gender or nationality. It was purely from admiration we developed for the people who we thought were living our dreams. As we grew up, I think at some point we are all forced into a realising a level of sanity. We see, live, and experience. We take the love and lessons forward and create a beautiful experience for all those whom we come in contact with.

Our cravings to comprehend other perspectives on life shall be satisfied by books, movies and meaningful conversations. We all experience a variety of things and some of them may be common and yet the comprehension of it might be so much different and lessons that each of us might take away might be significantly different as well. We ought to put ourselves openly in the face of learning, we eventually realise the value of being humble, the value of the people that love us and the values of the stories that we can experience and listen to.

There are plenty of little things in life that we overlook so easily. Sometimes, we forget to look up at the sky and take a moment to wonder about the stars. How can something so vast and wide appear so simple? And how can something of such simplicity as a pitch black sky with glittery things embedded on it look so beautiful? Personally, I believe a few minutes spent under the moonlight and its magnanimity drains all my sorrows away and gives me a renewed energy to get through the challenges that I might be facing.

I think it’s the same with life as well. I think the simple things in life hold so much value and if we all took the time to appreciate them, the world would be so much a better place. Look around at the nature as the water trickles away caressing your legs as the river flows along. Take in all that the universe has to offer you. I know it might appear unfair and depressing at times. But, I’m sure you will get through it because all of you all are so strong. And if you had a chance to view yourself through my eyes, I’m sure you’d know all the admiration I have for you. If you know me well enough, I probably might have told you about it. If not, I’m sure I will at some point down the line as and when I get to know you well enough.

I hope you shine the brightest, love the most, and absolutely relish life to the fullest of it. Much love to you, all you innately radiant people. The vibes of you are all that keeps me going.

Hey, guys! Thank you for taking the time to read my work. I hope you enjoyed it!

If we are meeting for the first time, I’m Nandhu/Nandha and it is wonderful to meet you. I just write what feels right from the bottom of my heart. Do drop a comment, if you think it was worthy of the few minutes or even if you have a question.
This one was particularly just a collection of my thoughts lately, barely woven together. I hope it made sense to you. It would be very much appreciated if you could let me know if you did connect to it.
Thank You!

Have a great day!
