Bubbles Of Delight
BUBBLES OF DELIGHT
There are little bubbles being blown in the air. The kid inside you engulfs and takes over. You extend your hand at the first sight of it to pop one. A gorgeous smile lights your face. That is Happiness. Similarly in life, happiness is hidden in all these little bubbles.
Let me take you through a journey. Two cups of coffee. You and me. Let’s go!
Remember the day when you were playing alone with your right hand being the superhero and the left one being the beast of enemy and a familiar face comes up and says, “Hey! Can I play with you?” and you look at him for a second surprised and then the smile lights your face showing your broken tooth. Then, we have two superheroes to defend Gotham city. It went on until the teacher catches you and chases the both out of the class and laughter again. Aaand.. 10 years pass by; we are still outside the class laughing. Just that there is a bigger gang.
Time flies. Changes happen in the next two years. Bombs dropped. Exams!! Results!! Admissions!! Somehow or the other we end up in college. It feels weird. It’s not school. Worst case scenario. You end up in the hostel. You walk in to the room assigned to you. There is this guy sitting there. How Indian am I if I don’t make assumptions before I get to know you? Points jotted. He looks up and says, “Hey bro, Need help with you stuff?” and your mind goes like, “Strike off!! Strike off the assumptions!” and there starts another friendship.
Pause. So, your mind right now would be like, “Where is this guy getting at?” and I do have an answer for that. Till this point of life, there isn’t much trouble or depression to be seen. The maximum being because of marks and maybe an infatuation misinterpreted relationship.
This is where the real life begins. You have lived this monotonous life of going to class and spending time with your friends...blah blah. It’s not like you are sad about it, but, you aren’t content either. Anxiousness of the future creeps in too. This is where the concept of “Bubbles of delight” plays a huge part in. Step out of your monotonous life and pop some of those bubbles floating in the air. Take a walk alone. Spend some time for yourself. Enjoy the breeze and the stars. Have a chance to help someone out? Do it. No second thoughts. Think someone is cute? Tell them. Feel like eating something. Do it the next time you can.
We all long for stories, don’t we? Who better to ask than people older than us? (Wiser they are; the better). Granma, granpa, dad, mom, uncles, aunts, sisters and brothers. Don’t let anyone without sharing an experience because every single human being is completely different with their own flaws, experiences, secrets and dreams. Everyone hold inside them a story so infinitely interesting that it could never be completely told in a film, book or conversation. The more you learn about different kinds of people the more you learn about life.
Always have a hobby that you can get lost into. Chances are hobbies turn into passion and in turn become the best thing that happened in your life. Also it can always diminish the worries you have and help you live the moment. After all, who’d wish for a gloomy day?
They say, “Everyone is a kid inside”. So, why not keep it alive and just let it run its way from one bubble to another popping them and smiling beautifully.
Have a wonderful life.
Regards,
Nandha ☺
I like the part where, in the journey, you introduced the superheros of Gotham... And used the scenario to introduce 'Bubbles of delight', leaving a message for us which tells us to step out of the same monotonous life...
