A lil better than yourself :)
There always comes the day when you become independent. The day you've always wanted. The day you realise you can do anything you want at your own comfortable time. You have a decent pay from your job, a neat room for yourself. These would be the last few days when the kids would call you, Anna or Akka. The moments of realisation that you ought to be responsible for what you do. Maybe, you think you haven't made your parents feel proud of you. But, the moment when you can pay your bills and pay for your own bread. You have actually made your parents satisfied to say the least and you can be happy about it.
Now. Is the time where you want to strive to become better at what you do. You can make time for your hobbies. You can buy your own things.Things that you always wanted. But, you feel like is this really all that life is about? A few nights of restless thinking. Then, you think that you should be passionate about something. It's great if that passion is your work itself. If not, you take your hobbies one step further. Love reading, let me try writing. Love music, learn some instrument. Love photography, learn to be a good photographer. The point at which you switch to a more meaningful life. You are religious? That's great. I love God too. I thank him for everything he has given me. But, now I want to make a difference in my life and make myself happy at what I do. I just want his grace to be able to do that.
You practice the skill that was just a hobby till then. Then, you realise at some point that how much more it means to you than what you thought. It had always been a part of your life. So, by experience you know it a lot. Beyond the times where you spend time just watching a movie or going out with your friends, you get a really satisfying feeling when you do something which really means a lot to yourself.
There was a friend of mine. He wasn't a great student during college days. I wasn't too :P . Anyway, He loved helping people and he loved photography. And now, he has successfully started helping people with a startup NGO and does his own PR and works with a friend in his photography venture.
It's a great inspiration to other people when you can do things like that. Any Entrepreneur is an inspiration for life. There is always something better that we can do our lives. Those few steps towards our passion gives us a lot of happiness in the future. Find the better half within yourself. Love yourself and make yourself that best till you feel it.
Cheers to a happy life,
Nandhu! :)
Yes indeed ... People who find out the way to make the hobbies their profession succeed big time !
